Greater than the Storm - Fall Retreat

Our Lord is GREATER than any storm, no matter the size of the waves. Come praise Him, encounter HIM, let HIM in the boat and let go of any fear. Come join Frassati Fellowship for our Fall Retreat, “Greater than the Storm" Saturday, September 26 at the Blue Army Shrine in NJ.

This one-day retreat will have all the aspects that make a Frassati Retreat a profound and life changing experience. The day will include Mass, time for Confession, talks, discussion groups, praise & worship, Eucharistic adoration, and plenty of fellowship.

This retreat is dedicated to young adults in their 20's and 30's. For any aditional registrations please send us an email.

COMMITMENT TO ATTEND ENTIRE RETREAT

The retreat begins with check-in at 8AM and ends with Eucharistic procession at 8PM. You must attend the retreat in its entirety. This is also to prevent unnecessary exposure to other people during these times.

WAITLIST

If tickets are listed as sold out, please opt for a Waitlist ticket and we will contact you if and when spots open up. We will prioritize requests from retreatants who are local to the New York City and New Jersey metro area. Please do not make arrangements to travel to this retreat if you are on the Waitlist or have not yet registered.

RETREAT FEE

The retreat registration fee includes all meals for Saturday, all retreat activities, as well as bus transportation for up to 50 retreatants.

If you desire to attend the Fall Retreat but are experiencing financial hardship, we invite you to apply for scholarship assistance. Please email retreats@frassati.nyc to request a scholarship. Please briefly explain the specific financial reasons prompting you to apply for scholarship assistance and describe your past and present involvement in Frassati Fellowship. We will prayerfully consider all requests received and allocate funds in accordance with available resources. Please be assured that the information you submit will be treated with strict confidentiality.

TRANSPORTATION

There is parking available at the Blue Army Shrine for those who can drive to the retreat.

Transportation by bus will be available to and from the retreat venue on a first come, first serve basis, please make sure to select the bus option if you need transportation. If the bus fills up, remaining retreatants will need to make their own travel arrangements.

If you indicate that you need transportation when purchasing your ticket, we will follow up by email to confirm your space on the bus or to offer other options.

The bus will depart at 7AM from St. Vincent Ferrer Church (869 Lexington Ave, between 65th and 66th Streets) to the Blue Army Shrine. Please be on time if you sign up for the bus. We will return to the same location.

SAFETY DURING COVID-19

We are trying to make this as safe and prayerful as possible, within the regulations the state and the Church allow. The Blue Army Shrine has an open outside chapel where all the religious services and talks will be given. You MUST BRING A MASK and wear it whenever social distancing is not possible especially during the bus ride to and from the retreat location. If you do not feel comfortable being around people yet, have personal preferences about certain safety practices, or feel sick, we recommend you prayerfully discern not taking part of this retreat as we will not be able to modify accommodations or make special arrangements on an individual basis. We will have more retreats in the upcoming future, God willing!

SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Under "Donation to Scholarship Fund," you have the option of donating to support our brothers and sisters who are experiencing financial hardship and need financial assistance to attend this retreat. If you are able to donate here, please do!

REFUNDS

Registration is non-transferable--only the person registered for the retreat can attend. Last-minute cancellations make it difficult to find someone to take your spot. Please be considerate of others who may want to attend and only sign up if you fully intend to come on this retreat. Nevertheless, we understand that sometimes plans change. If you cannot attend, please let us know ASAP.

Cancellations withing 24 hours will receive a full refund until September 24.

Cancellations after 24 hours will receive a 50% refund until September 24.

Any cancellation after September 24 will not receive any refund.
